Chinese New Year Reunion at home

Gong Xi Gong Xi everyone...

To celebrate the Chinese New Year this year..
We don't have all the traditional new year food..No duck No chicken No fish or definitely No Yee Sang. Too bad dont have invitation either!! :(

So.. sushi is all I get.
Would have been nice to be home with my family and friends and eat all the nice things, but I'm stuck here with my sushi. What can i do??

Anyway.. I'm abit homesick now because i miss the CNY Food and Gamble with my family and friends. But never mind i already got used to it. :)
I will find my way to enjoy myself!

Ohhh...cold cold cold!!! Freezing outside. But today just -6'C, not that bad!! :)

Tong Yuen

Yahoooo.... finally!!!
Its been long time that i ate tong yuen! I know.. Dong Zi festival is over but i cant stop thinking of it. Finally, i made tong yuen yesterday.
Of course ..im not eating alone... i invited my China friend too.

What can i say...my yummy Tong Yuen just taste the same like home!! Mmmmm.....









Well, she not complaining about my tong yuen anyway!! I guess its taste nice. :)

I been listening to his CD today. I been trying to sing this song named 說 好 的 幸 福 呢. Like hell that i can read chinese!!! Of course i read in pin yin.
I did google the song in pin yin. It was so hard to sing his song. But i will never give up, im gonna listen to it everyday. hahahaha

Lemon Curd Cake

I don't know if anyone of you ever heard about this before.
Lemon Curd Cake? I never heard of it anyway!!

So, this is it...something i can share with you!!


Mixing the eggs and sugar


Add the flour and the baking powder


Into the baking form. Ready to put into the oven

The cake slit into two ( top and bottom ) Add the lemon curd in between.



The cake is cover with whipped cream
