What is raggmunk?? Raggmunk is one of my favorites Swedish dish. Raggmunk is make of potato, its more like potato pancake. Raggmunk is best served with fried pork with lingon berries.

This is my Raggmunk look like!! :)
Fat food always taste good!!!

Here is the recipe for the potato pancake.

Ingredients:

* 2 cups grated potatoes, about 1 1/2 pounds potatoes
* 1 medium onion, grated
* 1/4 cup milk, scalded
* 1 egg
* 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon salt
* dash pepper
* vegetable oil

Preparation:
Combine grated potatoes and onion; place in a strainer to allow liquid to drain off into a bowl. When starch has settled, pour water off and add starch back to potatoes. Pour the hot milk over the potatoes, then add the beaten egg. Sift together flour and seasonings

Heat about 1 to 2 inches of oil in a deep skillet (you may use a deep fryer for these). Drop potato mixture by tablespoons into the hot fat. Fry until golden brown and drain on paper towels.
Makes 6 pancakes.
